Day 1 :
One day tour to Chunkurchak

Morning Adventure: Chunkurchak Gorge
Departure from Bishkek
Time: 8:00 AM
Details: Set off on a scenic drive from Bishkek, heading towards the serene beauty of the Chunkurchak Gorge.
Exploration Begins
Arrival: 10:00 AM
Activities: Embrace the great outdoors with a guided hike through the gorge, witnessing its lush landscapes and diverse wildlife. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Afternoon Cultural Immersion: Supara Ethno Complex
Journey to Tradition
Travel: Depart Chunkurchak Gorge at 12:30 PM for a leisurely drive to the Supara Ethno Complex.
Arrival: 1:30 PM
A Taste of Kyrgyz Culture
Lunch: 1:45 PM. Savor traditional Kyrgyz cuisine, prepared with organic, locally-sourced ingredients.
Tour: 2:45 PM. Embark on a guided tour of the complex, exploring traditional Kyrgyz yurts, crafts, and customs. Engage with live cultural performances that bring the spirit of Kyrgyzstan to life.

  • Optional Activities: Costs associated with optional activities not included in the tour itinerary, such as horseback riding, skiing (if in season), or any special workshops that may be offered at the Supara Ethno Complex.
  • Tips and Gratuities: Tips for guides and drivers are not included and are left to the discretion of each guest based on their satisfaction with the service.
  • Additional Meals: Breakfast, dinner, and any additional meals or drinks outside of the lunch provided are not included.
What should I wear for the tour?

We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy walking or hiking shoes. The weather can vary, especially in the mountains, so dressing in layers is advisable. Don’t forget sun protection, such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen, especially during the summer months.

Is the tour suitable for children?

Yes, the tour is family-friendly and suitable for children. The activities at Chunkurchak Gorge and the Supara Ethno Complex are engaging for all ages. Please note that children should be supervised by an adult at all times.

What if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

The tour operates rain or shine. In case of severe weather conditions that could affect the safety of our guests, we may modify the itinerary or, in rare instances, postpone or cancel the tour. Guests will be notified in advance and offered rescheduling options or refunds according to our cancellation policy.

Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?

The tour price includes transportation, entrance fees, a guide, and lunch. Not included are personal expenses such as souvenirs, optional activities not outlined in the itinerary, additional meals, and tips for the guide and driver. Optional activities available for an additional fee may include horseback riding or special workshops at the Supara Ethno Complex.
