Itinerary

Day 1 :
Day one

Start from Naryn Bridge: Begin your journey in the vicinity of the Naryn Bridge, marking the start of your adventure.
Through the Mountains to Kuybyshev Village: Travel through the mountains on horseback, heading towards the village of Kuybyshev. This leg of the journey offers a deep dive into the natural beauty of Kyrgyzstan's rugged terrain.
Overnight Stay in Kuybyshev: Conclude the day with an overnight stay in Kuybyshev, preparing for the journey ahead.

Day 2 :
Day two

Ascend from Kuybyshev to the Pass: Leave Kuybyshev and begin the ascent through the pass that leads towards the high-altitude pastures and landscapes that define this region.
Descend to Zherge-Tal: After crossing the pass, descend to Zherge-Tal, where you'll be greeted with a cultural performance in the evening, including a meeting with a komuz ensemble and a master of komuz.
Overnight Stay at Zherge-Tal: Enjoy dinner and the unique experience of staying overnight in this picturesque location.

Day 3 :
Day three

Explore Canyons and Ridge: Depart Zherge-Tal to explore the canyons of Teshik, Bak-Chetin, and Zangi. The journey continues with an ascent to the Kyrgyzhol ridge, offering panoramic views and a sense of adventure.
Participate in Horse Games: In the afternoon, engage in traditional Kyrgyz horse games, a cultural highlight that offers insight into the nomadic lifestyle and skills of the Kyrgyz people.
Overnight in the Valley or Winter Camp of Teshik: The day ends with a descent to a valley or the winter camp of Teshik for an overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Journey Through Han-Salyk Gorge: Start the day by heading towards Han-Salyk Gorge, where you'll explore ancient burial sites and petroglyphs, and learn about the legend of Han Salyk.
Lunch at Zhon Bulak Pass: Ascend to Zhon Bulak Pass, where you'll have lunch, enjoy a rest, and take in the scenic views with a photo session.
Arrival at Son Kul Lake: The final leg of the journey takes you to Son-Kul Lake, a stunning high-altitude lake that is a jewel of Kyrgyzstan. The lake is a perfect place to reflect on the journey, with its serene waters and the pastoral lifestyle of the nomadic herders around it.

What should I pack for the tour?

Participants should pack warm and waterproof clothing, as weather in the mountains can be unpredictable. What safety measures are in place during the tour?

Safety is our top priority. All guides are trained in first aid and emergency response. A support vehicle will carry all luggage and supplies, staying within reach for most of the journey. Participants will be briefed on safety protocols, and an emergency evacuation plan is in place for the entire route.

How do I get to the starting point of the tour, and is transportation provided at the end?

Participants are responsible for their transportation to the designated meeting point in Naryn at the start of the tour. At the conclusion of the tour, transportation will be provided back to a central location in Naryn. Detailed instructions on how to reach the meeting point, including recommendations for local transport options, will be provided upon booking.
