What is special about this tour?

  • This tour leads you deep into the Tien Shan mountains, where you will experience remote places and nomads living there.
  • You will see different animals like yaks, ancient stone sculptures, big glaciers will have the chance to fish in mountain lakes.
  • Eki Naryn gorge is the place where the two Naryn rivers meet, it’s absolutely astonishing.

Day 1:

Distance: 28.8 km | Elevation : +310 --80
  • This day, horseback riding/trekking we will cross several hills and head into the second gorge, named “Eki-Naryn”. There you will face the totally different landscape of a fir forest. We will continue the trek or horseback until reaching “Oruk-Tam valley Overnight in the tent
  • 6 hours by horse or 7 hours hiking

Day 2:

Distance: 22km | Elevation gain/loss: +683/-527m
  • On this day we will reach “Kuzgun Uya” valley. On the way we will have a picnic lunch break. In the afternoon we will reach the river “Kara-Kaman”, where dinner will be prepared for you. Overnight in tents.

Day 3:

Distance: 20km | Elevation gain/loss: +222m/-100m
  • On this day we leave the “Aikol ” valley to “Kalak-Tash ” jailoo, which is home to a herd of half-wild yaks. Ancient 3 stone sculptures that resemble those of the Easter Island can also be found in this valley. Here we will spend the night in the tent. If you like you can also go fishing in the nearby river
  • 7 hours by horse or 8 hours hiking

Day 4:

Distance: 23 km | Elevation gain/loss: +913m/-749m
  • Today we go up to “Teshik-Kul” Lake at 3727m. There you have the possibility to go fishing. In the afternoon we go back to hot springs and continue to “Uch Emchek” valley where we will spend the night.

Day 5:

Distance: 22,5km – Elevation gain/loss: 663m/-236m
  • The tour continues up in the mountains where you will enjoy 5 beautiful landscapes,panoramas and tranquility valley . You will sleep close to the second pass “Tosor-Ashuu” at 3893m. 6 Overnight in the tent
  • 7 hours by horse or 8 hours hiking

Day 6:

Distance: 33km – Elevation gain/loss: 1345m/-1690m
  • After crossing “Tosor-Ashuu” you will descend. During this part of the trail you will see the astonishing panorama of Issyk-Kul Lake. You will spend the night at “Kol-Bel” jailoo (3000m). Overnight in the tent
  • 7 hours by horse or 8 hours hiking

Day 7:

Distance: 20km – Elevation gain/loss: 500m/-1880m
  • On this day our tour takes you further down to the “Boz Salkyn” valley which is located close to the holy mountain 7 “Tashtarata”. We will descend back to Bokonbaevo village and reach it in the early afternoon.
