Discover the highest waterfall in Central Asia -- Shaar
Tour Highlights
Shaar is recognized as the highest waterfall in all of Central Asia (about 330 meters height), and certainly one of the most spectacular. The waterfall is visible from kilometers away, and serves as a source of water for grazing flocks of sheep and horses all the way down the valley to At-Bashi and beyond.
The trek constantly rewards visitors with dynamic vista views down the valley, full of fir trees, grazing yaks, herds of sheep and semi wild horses. Those with keen eyes and good fortune have been known to spot elusive marco polo sheeps on the canyon walls surrounding the waterfall.
